A bold and inspiring effort, W Bro John Bates of Edwinstow Lodge has set his sights on an incredible fundraising effort in support of Nottinghamshire Festival 2029.

On November 11, 2023, he will take to the skies at Langar Airfield for a thrilling skydiving adventure, in the name of charity, as well as to celebrate his 80th birthday!

The Nottinghamshire Festival is a great celebration of unity and charity, embodying the very essence of Freemasonry – brotherhood, compassion and service to others and W Bro John Bates, fast approaching the festival, has taken on a key role in overseeing it who will ensure that his victory. While W Bro John has embraced the adventurous spirit of adventure, he has realised that traditional fundraising methods may not always attract attention.
