We were delighted to support and attend a truly uplifting community event at Goldsmith Street — the Spring Festival Flower Arranging Demonstration. With over 100 people in attendance, the afternoon was a fantastic showcase of creativity, community spirit, and charitable giving.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring demonstration by the incredibly talented Andrew Kay, whose skill and flair captivated the audience from start to finish. His arrangements were nothing short of stunning, and the natural rapport and humour shared on stage brought an added warmth and energy to the occasion.

Guests were treated not only to beautiful floral displays but also to a wonderful selection of cakes and refreshments, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all. The event struck a perfect balance between entertainment and purpose, with proceeds supporting a very worthy cause.
One attendee summed up the afternoon perfectly:
“Just to say thank you for such an amazing afternoon. I really enjoyed the demonstrations — he was so talented and I loved the dynamics between them both. The flowers were all gorgeous (as were the cakes), and all for a good cause.”
As the event drew to a close, excitement built around the raffle, where several of the stunning floral displays found new homes — a fitting end to a day filled with generosity and community spirit.

Events like this are a reminder of the power of bringing people together — something at the very heart of Freemasonry. We are proud to support initiatives that strengthen our communities while raising funds for good causes.
We look forward to many more events like this in the future.
